BOO! – The annual Halloween Trunk and Treat is Friday 27 Oct in the DMCA parking lot. Are you planning your award winning car decor, costumes or treats to hand out?   (remember this a Family Friendly event – not the place for alcohol or pets) . This fun family night begins early and offers pizza and drinks for your dining pleasure.  And a bake sale!

Remember >>>>> our Sneaker Shoe Drive is continuing through October.  The class who collects the most sneakers/students will win a deluxe ice cream party!   I’m not sure which class is ahead, but I’ve seen many shoes come in….. and we want MORE!!  Used/new tennis shoes of any size are accepted.   Mention it to your friends.   This is a recycling program that benefits others at no cost to DMCA.

Pure MAGIC…..  Divine Mercy Catholic Academy Night on Saturday, November 18th Orlando Magic vs. Utah Jazz.   Tickets to attend this game with fellow DMCA Chargers are available for $26, $39, and $69 per ticket.   Orders are due Wednesday October 18th   The forms were sent home a couple weeks ago or you may stop in the office.

CHARGER SHIRTS …..   The October 13 deadline is approaching to place your order for the new  navy blue dry-fit t-shirt with the full color Charger mascot logo on front or a dry-fit coaches polo with the new mascot logo embroidered on the chest.  T-shirts shirts are available in both youth and adult sizes.  Order forms are in the office.

Boy Scouts

All boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible for Cub Scout signups this Thursday, 10/12, at Lewis Carroll Elementary School from 6-7 PM.

Cub Scouting Needs You!  Come join us as we learn the Scouting values of being Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.  We learn how to take care of our planet and each other.  Most of all, we have FUN!  There will be activities for the boys (siblings welcome) and a short presentation from our Scout leaders.  Come join the adventure! .  6th graders and up may join Boy Scouts.
