Welcome to our Academy

Divine Mercy Catholic Academy is a community that is connected through our faith, our mission to provide exemplary academics and our desire to reach out in service to the greater Merritt Island community.

From our humble beginnings in September of 1964 to the present day, Divine Mercy has always existed to truly serve the needs of the children and families that call our school “Home”.

We provide our students with a research-based, developmentally-appropriate curriculum as advocated by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

What makes Divine Mercy so great?

A learning experience guided by high standards

Academic Excellence

Excellence in academics is a key component in fulfilling DMCA’s mission to educate the whole child.  Our curriculum is guided by both the Next Generation Florida Standards and the Diocesan standards.

Faith Formation

Sharing in the Eucharist is the source and the summit of all that we do as Catholics, and our weekly school Masses celebrate our faith.  Our students not only participate in these liturgies, but each week a different class takes on a leadership role in the service.

I feel as though every one of my teachers took the time to truly gain an understanding of my personal strengths and weaknesses, along with those of my fellow classmates, in order to recognize and teach toward many different learning styles."
